The second Hangzhou Dream Town Half Marathon will kick off on October 20, the organizing committee announced today at the news conference.

　　The competition has been awarded the Gold Label Road Race by the Chinese Athletic Association for the first time last year. The online registration commences today with a total of 10,000 spots for the half marathon and the mini-marathon(6,000 for the half marathon and 4,000 for the mini-marathon).

　　Started from Hangzhou Future Technology City,the competition is equipped with high technology. A data command center is set for the marathon event with an intelligent screen to present the information to the public comprehensively. Besides, thanks to the big data technology, staff can make early warning and early counseling of crisis events in the remote distance. The competition area will have 5G coverage.

　　Intelligent robots, facial recognition, chip timing and other technological elements make the race a technological feast. Besides, the science-entrepreneurship groups are set for teams from the Dream Town, where the 2019 National Mass Innovation and Entrepreneurship Week was held.
